The Role
A large professional services company in Lincoln are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk, initially on a 6 month contract but with the potential for extension. This is a busy department processing a high volume of invoices. Supporting the Manager, and on a salary of £16k, you will be fast, efficient and pay good attention to detail.
The Responsibilities
-Processing purchase invoices.
-Matching and batching.
-Scanning and indexing.
-Reconciling using aged creditors reports and supplier statements.
-Support weekly payment runs and month end.
-Nominal coding of invoices.
The Person
You will have 2 years experience of Purchase Ledger, preferably in a large organisation or high volume environment. With good Excel skills, you will be able to work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high attention to detail.
