This particular Service provides 24 hour support for adults who presently have mild to moderate learning disabilities (mainly Autism) and or Mental Health needs.
One or more of the following qualifications is essential *
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults' Residential Management) Wales and Northern Ireland*
* A First Level Registered Nurse must also hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults' Residential Management) Wales and Northern Ireland Degree in Social Work
* NVQ 4 Leadership and Management for Care Services
* NVQ 4 Registered Manager Award (adult pathway)
* NVQ 4 Management (assessed in a care setting)
* NVQ 4 Health and Social Care (adult pathway)
* NVQ 4 Care
* First Level Registered Nurse and one of the following:
Main Responsibilities:
* To ensure responsibility for the operational management and financial performance of the service
* To ensure full compliance with CQC, CSSIW or Ofsted regulatory authorities and best practice' guidelines within economic grounds
* To be actively pursuing referrals and admissions to maintain the required level of occupancy in line with fee and budget requirements
* To ensure your Line Manager/Regional Director are notified of all concerns on a regular basis and on an immediate basis regarding important matters and those of serious concern
* To actively engage with and follow individual support plans
* To encourage and enable individuals to make informed decisions and choices
* To implement and ensure compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures, the staff handbook and the General Social Care Council - Code of Practice
* Take responsibility for your own and other's health and safety
* Report and document any concerns in a timely and appropriate manner
* To follow all reasonable management instructions, promoting a high quality service
* Work in partnership with colleagues, appropriate family, friends and other professionals
* To conduct Quality Audits at neighbouring services.
